When temperatures drop and our outdoor surroundings become more silent, still and dormant we look to our interior spaces to find warmth and comfort. The leaves fall and the ground becomes frost covered, birds search for berries in the branches, the earth takes a rest. Photographing this winter splendor is for the adventurous at heart and the wonder of it all is worth facing the cold to get those great shots. Images of the bare trees, the snow covered mountains and plains, details of the landscape and warm interior spaces are what will make up the photographs in the Wintertime exhibition. Our attention is drawn indoors as we seek warmth around the hearth with a steaming coffee and a sturdy woolen blanket. All of the details of the feeling of the season are the types of photographs that we are featuring in for this exhibition.
